The FSL diving and maritime team offer a professional and highly specialised service that covers a broad spectrum of diving and maritime works. The team carry out repairs, maintenance, and inspections of all maritime assets, navigation lights and markers, and the culvert systems and service tunnels in and around Portsmouth naval base.
Our two dive teams are certified to HSE Diving at Works Regulations 1997 and Commercial Diving Projects Inland/Inshore Approved Codes of Practice (ACOP’s). We also hold full membership of the Association of Diving Contractors (ADC).
The Diving Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors hold an ADC Supervisors Certificate. All staff are certified for Confined Space Works and are First Aid qualified.
Our 47ft. Dive/Workboat boasts a full surface supplied capability and includes a hydraulic crane that can lift loads up to 3T. Additionally we have a 21ft RIB and small working dory. We also have two mobile land-based units that are fully equipped with surface-supplied diving support systems. Underwater Video Equipment is also available.
Our clients include Portsmouth County Council, Vosper Thorneycroft, Serco Denholm, and Wightlink.
