Non Destructive Examination (NDE)
- FSL are able to offer NDE services to customers through the on site Centre (NDEC)
- The NDEC employ specialist, qualified, personnel capable of providing Magnetic Particle, Penetrant, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic and Radiographic Inspection methods
- All personnel are qualified to the British Institute of NDT Personnel Certification in NDT (PCN) Scheme to Level 2standard
- NDEC holds Lloyd’s Register approval to undertake Thickness Measurement of Hull Structure
- Radiography can be undertaken either on site or within the purpose built exposure bays
- The NDEC is equipped with X Ray Tubes, and Iridium 192 and Selenium 75 isotopes
